We are located on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains, in the pristine foothills of the Wenatchee Valley wilderness area. Here outdoor sports is a major factor in our way of life. This includes hunting, fishing, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, all forms of water sports, golfing, target shooting, skeet and trap shooting, bird watching, hiking and more.

I have a friend who even hunts for deer and elk antlers (called "shed" hunting) using a great pair of binoculars. I myself have hunted deer and elk with a custom sporterized Springfield 1903A3, 30-06 cal with a 40 year-old Weaver K4 60B rifle scope. The rifle has a custom made "fiddleback maple" "floating" stock and the brightest blueing I have ever seen. I have taken deer, elk and bear with it.

My favorite part of the hunt is just being in the woods and the tracking and stalking of deer and elk; that is where the challange is.
